Pros
The company offers good benefits, profit sharing and a fair amount of vacation time the longer you are employed by them. They also offer college tuition reimbursement which is nice if you are planning on going to school. Most of the younger employees are great to work with but the older generation employees are a different story.
Cons
Managers have a tendency to micro manage things that they don't have much knowledge of. Some of the product is well engineered and some of it not so much. There seems to be a wide spectrum of talent in the support departments. Some take their job seriously and do it well while others are there just to collect a pay check. Most of the people are great but there are a few egos that walk around thinking they are better than everyone else. Safety is not a primary concern for this company. They give off the impression they want things to be safe but heavily cut corners when it comes to safety. Training is mostly on the job training from another technician. Work documentation, work instructions and engineering prints are poor for a technology company. Politics are in play here. Management has senior employees as their eyes and ears to siphon information from younger employees for them. If you speak your mind you will be blackballed by management. The illusion of advancement has been put into play with a tier system that is assigned based off of attitude and how much management likes an individual rather than job skill and knowledge. If you are a technician on the manufacturing floor you will not be promoted within the company.
