Pros
In some teams, work-life balance is ok.
Cons
Worst management ever. TLs have no idea what they are doing. Tasks lack instructions. Most of the projects are chaotic. They insist on a transparency policy at the same time they make employees sign papers saying their salaries are confidential. They create performance improvement plans to screw people: they don't give reasons for it to happen, they don't show the documents supporting it, they don't give feedback. Company works in a very vertical way. Feedback from employees is ignored. HR is truly aggressive and lies all the time. If a TL decides you lack something, there's no way to get an honest discussion about it. They create an environment of suspicion and everybody is afraid. The teams are very unbalanced, with some with nothing to do at all (again, bad management that forces people to stay 9 hours a day at the office with literally nothing to do) and others with burn-outs. No one really cares about work, it is basically show-off. Lots of useless meetings, and an unbelievable lack of structure. TL made it possible, during covid, to have 3 hours per day of online social meetings! It was a boys club to discuss videogames and waste eveybody's time. In 1:1, many people complained about this, but it was ignored because TL wanted to play. It's mostly a culture of bootlicking.
