Pros

When hired in Spring of 2023, the pay structure was much higher than it appears to be now. I was paid $23.00 to start with a shift diff for nights of another $1.50 [1:30 - 10:00pm shift]. The availability of free drinks and snacks and an extremely great cafeteria with a multitude of choices added value to the job. My job trainer was absolutely phenomenal. The job itself was acceptable once I fully understood what was expected from me and gained a rhythm to the day-to-day workload. Most of my coworkers were great folks. Q at the Shoe was a great event.

Cons

The overall experience is directly related to whom you are assigned as your pod leadership. A past supervisor from another job and a past coworker from that same job referred me to Quantum. My experience was extremely stressful once out of training. I was consistently pulled from the floor to discuss my performance while fresh out of training and it was rarely for constructive criticism. The unwillingness to let me get my legs under me to understand the workload and the process coming from a more claims-oriented customer service role was simply confusing. There were peer favorites and it was reflected consistently. I was mentally and professionally bullied, and it became unbearable. I wasn't spoken to by one person for two full weeks after joining the team. I had a clear goal I wanted to achieve but then found out that the additional responsibilities didn't mean additional compensation - it would be a "lateral move." Needless to say, I left after 100 days, unable to handle the stress from the overall situation; it wasn't because of the workload or job tasks. whatsoever.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for highlighting aspects of your time at Quantum Health, including your training, coworkers, and the environment. The experience you described regarding team dynamics and leadership is not representative of the standards we expect for our Healthcare Warriors. Creating an environment where employees feel supported, respected, and able to build confidence, especially early in their tenure, is a priority across our organization. The PSR role is currently undergoing meaningful transformation as we continue to evolve how we support both our employees and the members we serve. This includes leveraging technology to streamline workflows, enhancing training to better prepare new hires for success, and building more defined career path programs to create greater clarity on growth opportunities within Quantum Health. Feedback like yours reinforces the importance of strong, consistent leadership and clear communication, and we continue to focus on strengthening both as part of this evolution. We also encourage employees to partner with HR or their leadership team when concerns arise so they can be addressed in real time. We appreciate the contributions you made during your time with us and wish you continued success in your next chapter. - Felicia Taylor, CHRO, Quantum Health

Pros

Wonder place to work, very flexible and there are always opportunities for growth.

Cons

Wish they offered full remote for positions that do not truly need to be in office.

Pros

Nothing. Literally nothing at all.

Cons

They promote without giving raises but don’t tell you that the whole time you are working up to your promotion. So essentially they’re getting you to do more work for less. This goes for at least 50% of roles here. Our CEO has 0 business being in healthcare. Before this they owned a basketball team or something? Really what made you guys think this was the right person to lead this company? This company gives their own employees OPEN ACCESS PLANS. Which are so predatory I think one day they will be outlawed. And don’t respond with that “oh we pass the savings on to the members” it’s not true and you know it. Every decision made it to fatten the higher ups wallets. Everyone with a lower level role is extremely upset with how we are being treated. Most only stay due to the problem with the economy and not being able to risk going without health insurance. Other healthcare companies nearby are offering better pay and benefits. Wake up Quantum before it’s too late and you loose ALL your good employees.
