That is where the good ends. When I first started with Quantum, things were great. I felt like our management was there to help us. I was recognized for fighting on the behalf of our members and the work load felt completely manageable. As Quantum has grown, all of that has changed. For years now, I’ve been saying that this company has nothing but money signs in their eyes. Constantly trying to sign on new clients when we can’t even keep up with the ones we currently have whether it be because of staffing issues, management issues, or something else. Not only can the employees not support the amount of clients we’re taking but it’s clear that the clients aren’t satisfied either as year after year, clients will drop Quantum for one reason or another. On top of this, the promise of promoting internally is just a complete lie. In the 5 years I’ve been here, I’ve been promoted once after my first year of employment. Since then, I have applied and interviewed for several internal positions with no luck. Every meeting I’ve had with management results in the response, “growing in position” despite exceeding all of the quality standards. And like salt in the wound, new hires have been hired on with a higher starting wage than I am making after 5 years of employment with the company. Not only is your time not valuable to this company but unfortunately, neither is your safety. Throughout the pandemic, I was required to come into the office for work without any option to work remotely. This resulted in me getting covid twice and subsequently being required to use nearly all of my PTO for the year because they also do not offer sick pay. Additionally, Nearly every manager I’ve had while working at Quantum has been an external hire who is completely clueless on the day to day operations of the Pod and rather are only there to track Numbers. Please, if you want to work somewhere that values you as an employee for the time and effort you’ve put in, Quantum is the LAST place that I recommend you work.
