Pros

Personal connection with members & some really great peers.

Cons

I had a very abusive and manipulative experience. My first year and a half were wonderful. I imagined I’d stay forever- but, then came the shift. I was an exemplary employee at all times. Never a bad review or disciplinary of any kind. I brought a lot to the table and it showed in my work, The first time I had the need for an ADA accommodation was in 2022, an ergonomic chair to mitigate a spinal condition. Quantum picked the chair, got the appropriate paperwork from my doctor, and approved it. Two months later they told me it hadn’t been ordered because “everyone would want one”. I eventually had to threaten reporting them to the EEOC before they complied. Shortly thereafter it was determined that my condition had progressed to the point of a fractured spine and required surgical intervention. It was a nightmare getting that approved, at one point I was told I would need to wait 14 weeks before the auth could be approved. HR leadership would not speak to me, she instead told me they were “too busy” with meetings. Eventually I had no choice but to advocate for myself my reaching out to the executive team. Begrudgingly, I was assisted, I returned after my recovery for 2 reasons, I needed my benefits for ongoing care & I was hopeful that my best me would yield different experiences. But, I soon found out I would be blacklisted, abused, and pushed out for expecting them to deliver on their own promises. I applied for a new position and was told I was benched. They shortly thereafter reversed course and told me that I was not. Daily the story changed. I was benched, not benched, didn’t have to apply or re-interview, then I did, then I just had to have a “conversation” with the hiring manager, then that was changed to an interview with people other than the hiring manager. They told me they understood how this looked but were going to do it anyway. During all of that I had put in another ADA accommodation request for a cordless headset. They approved it- but, then refused to comply. Ultimately, on the same day they told me they were not going to give me the position I was benched for and they would not fulfill the ADA accommodation. Senior leadership had pulled me in their office and apologized for my experience, but told me they weren’t the right person to advocate for me and their “endorsement” wouldn’t help, As an active employee who had never received disciplinary action, I had to retain an attorney to represent me against a lawless and abusive company. You should be shamed and embarrassed, but you’re not.

Pros

Wonder place to work, very flexible and there are always opportunities for growth.

Cons

Wish they offered full remote for positions that do not truly need to be in office.

Pros

Nothing. Literally nothing at all.

Cons

They promote without giving raises but don’t tell you that the whole time you are working up to your promotion. So essentially they’re getting you to do more work for less. This goes for at least 50% of roles here. Our CEO has 0 business being in healthcare. Before this they owned a basketball team or something? Really what made you guys think this was the right person to lead this company? This company gives their own employees OPEN ACCESS PLANS. Which are so predatory I think one day they will be outlawed. And don’t respond with that “oh we pass the savings on to the members” it’s not true and you know it. Every decision made it to fatten the higher ups wallets. Everyone with a lower level role is extremely upset with how we are being treated. Most only stay due to the problem with the economy and not being able to risk going without health insurance. Other healthcare companies nearby are offering better pay and benefits. Wake up Quantum before it’s too late and you loose ALL your good employees.
