People who have no experience with the American healthcare system, despite the reason the business exists in the first place is to help Americans navigate their health benefits. You'd think they would want the people who work on their products to have even an ounce of experience with the reason the company exists in the first place and care about the work they do, but that no longer seems to be the case. -The tech stack is all over the place, takes forever to learn how everything fits together. -No clear path to promotion. It depends on your manager, if you’re lucky enough to even have one. -Management is overworked. They don't have time to properly train new employees or hear any feedback despite having an "open door policy". Even if you are lucky enough to bring up your concerns with someone, they’re quickly waived away. -Any employees who weren’t immediately let go have to directly train their offshore replacements, as if having to face the looming end to their employment wasn’t bad enough
