Pros

At this point the only pro is getting a paycheck

Cons

The new AWS system being used is terrible. It was clearly not ready to be used and has a huge amount of issues and dysfunction. It was pressed so hard to get it out, that it wasn't ready. This has happened with every major system change in the last few years. I dont understand the rush to start new tech that only hinders people Pay is not worth it. You will be expected to do the job of multiple people, and we are often told position changes are "lateral movement" so they can justify not paying more for extra work Vital resources are no longer available in the pods. They took away claims, clinical support, team leads, and assistant managers. Some of these positions they are working to replace with AI even though they tell us that is not the goal, as if we cant see what they are actually doing and that these words dont match what we are physically seeing. The people in these roles are being told they can step down back to being on the phones, or they can leave. Most people take a role like claims or CSC to get off of the phones. They did not bother to tell anyone and are trying to hide that the new system also has an AI constantly monitoring the calls so if the AI thinks an encounter is doing negative (based on what? Its an AI that doesn't feel emotion, how could it know where an encounter is going?) It will alert management. This new system does nothing for the works other than to add to our workload and make it harder to navigate while allowing the higher ups to micro manage every second. Toxic positivity culture is embraced here with "assume positive intent". People can be snarky and rude over messages, then claim thats not the way they intended it to be read, so nothing is done about it. Your life in the pod is heavily dependent on who you get as a PM. The people with good PMs feel supported and motivated, but there are a lot of bad PMs who create a horrible environment, and you can tell who is who based on how the phone reps interact with each other and the rest of the company. Not that anyone does anything to fix this, as some of the PMs and MELs are friends with HR so they wont do anything about the behavior Quality is a joke. Some of the reps are great, do a wonderful job explaining what they are looking for/why, but some are extremely nitpicky and take off points for little things that others would have not even noticed. Quality desperately needs to be more aligned, the scores for the same interaction shouldn't change person to person Something new with this system is changing lunch times. Every. Day. I did not sign up to have a constantly shifting lunch. They use the reasoning of adjusting to when calls are high, but thay doesn't make any sense. Unless you've somehow so poorly set up the schedules that half a division is on lunch at a time, there is no reason for this to be needed every single day. This need fixed immediately as I know myself and multiple people across divisions and roles will be actively seeking new work.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for your more than five years of service at Quantum Health. We truly appreciate your dedication and contributions. We hear the concerns you’ve raised about technology transitions, role adjustments and culture. While we’re proud of the many teams and leaders who work hard every day to uphold our mission of compassion and advocacy, we also recognize that experiences can vary, and we take feedback like yours seriously. We are evolving as an organization and at times that can cause disruption, but we remain committed to our values and pillars and it's in our DNA to both celebrate the wins and ensure we are accountable when things don’t go as expected. For the recent AWS rollout, we took a careful approach that included piloting the system in a small number of areas before using the feedback and learnings we gained to expand to a slightly larger group and eventually the entire organization. At every milestone we used feedback and insights from our front-line teams to inform and prioritize the adjustments & enhancements that mattered most to their experience. Feedback from our teams is a core driver of innovation at Quantum Health and there are a number of ways to share questions & feedback, and all are encouraged. We remain committed to evolving thoughtfully, supporting our people and ensuring our culture reflects the values that have always been at the heart of Quantum Health. - Senior VP of Member Engagement Kristen Wheeler

Pros

Wonder place to work, very flexible and there are always opportunities for growth.

Cons

Wish they offered full remote for positions that do not truly need to be in office.

Pros

Nothing. Literally nothing at all.

Cons

They promote without giving raises but don’t tell you that the whole time you are working up to your promotion. So essentially they’re getting you to do more work for less. This goes for at least 50% of roles here. Our CEO has 0 business being in healthcare. Before this they owned a basketball team or something? Really what made you guys think this was the right person to lead this company? This company gives their own employees OPEN ACCESS PLANS. Which are so predatory I think one day they will be outlawed. And don’t respond with that “oh we pass the savings on to the members” it’s not true and you know it. Every decision made it to fatten the higher ups wallets. Everyone with a lower level role is extremely upset with how we are being treated. Most only stay due to the problem with the economy and not being able to risk going without health insurance. Other healthcare companies nearby are offering better pay and benefits. Wake up Quantum before it’s too late and you loose ALL your good employees.
