Pros
Good job for someone who has daycare issues and needs to be home during the day. Benefits were adequate. Great for a night person who doesn't like traffic and staying up all night. Shift differential for graveyard shift was a plus.
Cons
Found out that while on graveyard shift, (8:30-5:00 am), even though your shift may end on a holiday, you will NOT get holiday pay for those hours. Your shift is fully paid for the day on which you started working. THAT was a drawback. Management for the graveyard shift was NEVER there, and the operations were run by Lead Processors - some were knowledgeable but others were not. Literacy is a HUGE problem here- seems like high school drop outs were hired and even promoted to management. The graveyard shift - don't do it if you want a life. Worst 3 years of my life. Zero chance to move into daytime hours.
