Pros
Learn to interpret data and operate LC-MS/MS and GC-MS instrumentation. Discounts on stocks. Decent benefits. Extra percentage for shift work. Ok place to start but not great for someone who is already experienced in the field
Cons
The lab (at least the one that I was in) is run like a sweatshop. Employees are expendable and all management cares about is increasing productivity/output numbers. Bar charts with everyone's names and production numbers were posted at the end of the month. You would get yelled at or written up for checking your phone. Treated employees like school kids.
