Pros

Good Salary in a Third World country. Remote Work. Highly capable people at the lower end of the hierarchy. Flexible work. Decent benefits.

Cons

Terrible Salary in a First World country. Lack of career advancement. Contant Layoffs. They constantly let go capable employees only to recruit cheaper and less experienced folks just to save money while taking away food from the table of people that were full committed to Quest. Not Stable. Management with lack of vision and constant restructurings.

Pros

Quest Software is a great place to work. The people are genuinely good people, very knowledgeable, and always willing to help. Quest is a strong environment if you enjoy solving complex technical problems, working with experienced teams, and helping customers address real business and security challenges. The company has a deep portfolio, talented employees, and many opportunities to collaborate across sales, presales, product management, engineering, and customer-facing teams. I also appreciate the flexibility, the trust given to senior employees, and the ability to contribute strategically beyond a narrow job description.

Cons

Like many large technology organizations, processes can sometimes be complex, and internal alignment across teams may take time. There are also opportunities to improve enablement, communication, and consistency around product packaging, roadmap visibility, and internal workflows.
