Pros

$10 dollars an hr for a job that only needs high school degree. Flexible hrs? First time employees can't change their schedule until 90 days after their employment, so think real hard when you want to work. Close to home depending on where you live and if there are quiktrips in the area. Somewhat safe environment.

Cons

No breaks! NONE. You have to move constantly. If you are eating and a customer comes up, you have to stop and get to that customer immediately. It can get super busy depending on the store they put you in. You do basically everything! You run register, clean up trash, cook food, clean restrooms, stock items and etc. It gets tiring and then you have to deal with annoying customers almost everyday. You have to be nice to everyone whether they are in the wrong or not. To be honest, for what we do at the store, 10 dollars an hr doesn't really seem to be worth it working at quiktrip. Probably better off looking for another job, unless you are desperate for a job and can't find anywhere else.

Pros

For part-time flexible hours and if you're a student you can get tuition reimbursement (If you work +13 hours and payed for your tuition). Also, good bounce as you work more hours. And once you stay long enough you can get health insurance and vacation days paid (you can get these benefits has a full time, but if you're and in high school and going to college after this would be better to keep flexible hours and later on get the perks),

Cons

At first, they give you a lot of information and even as you work with the company, there will be new things to learn. Bad thing about that is that store managers can get mad because other managers haven't explained to the clerks. So, it can be frustrating, this job is also a lot of talking so if your shy then that would be a problem.
