Pros

- Flexible schedule for part-timers - Occasional bonuses that can help - You learn a lot of skills that are valuable for your future jobs

Cons

QuikTrip will gaslight the sh*t out of you. The company does a good job at maintaining the illusion that they care about their employees (I chose my words carefully). Will constantly promise you a promotion but rarely follow through. They say promotions are based on merit; in reality, your performance scores have little to do with your advancement opportunities. It’s all about who likes you and how you fit in with the company goals. Also, RA/NA schedules are HELL, but it’s the only option if you want to work Full-Time. You could become a trainer, but they rarely grow beyond that point unless they inevitably go through the miserable RA/NA stage (which could last for years until somebody decides to promote you again (read: “It’s all about who likes you…”).

Pros

For part-time flexible hours and if you're a student you can get tuition reimbursement (If you work +13 hours and payed for your tuition). Also, good bounce as you work more hours. And once you stay long enough you can get health insurance and vacation days paid (you can get these benefits has a full time, but if you're and in high school and going to college after this would be better to keep flexible hours and later on get the perks),

Cons

At first, they give you a lot of information and even as you work with the company, there will be new things to learn. Bad thing about that is that store managers can get mad because other managers haven't explained to the clerks. So, it can be frustrating, this job is also a lot of talking so if your shy then that would be a problem.
