Pros
RRD is an old-school company in the midst of many transitions. With the announcement of splitting the company into three parts in 2016, a fire has been lit under many previously-complacent individuals. Everyone is thinking about how to improve, how to serve customers better, how to get new customers, and how to make money. It is an exciting time to be working for a company that has a great reputation as an industry leader.
Cons
Benefits are mediocre at best and there is inconsistent scrutiny of expenditures. Some groups and people can do whatever they want as long as they can vaguely define a "business need," while other groups have to justify every penny of spend and are tsk-tsked over legitimate expenses. You have to drive your own career here, and there are folks who are here for the long haul and don't have any particular ambition. Intelligence varies widely and non-stellar salaries mean some of the best brains have gone elsewhere.
