Pros

I struggle to think of any.

Cons

Been at R1 for long time, even during the Accretive days. The culture has gone horribly wrong over the years. People know it internally but it’s not spoken of - otherwise you will be out of a job. Look at all the folks that have left and will be leaving in the coming months. It’s sad - was a great company years back.

Pros

The voluntary separation offer was good.

Cons

I and hundreds of colleagues were transferred from Providence Health & Services to R1. We were told we were guaranteed our jobs for a year. They started offering voluntary separation packages less than a year in. This was suspicious. I didn't take the first couple of offers, but eventually I did - things were feeling uneasy. Since leaving I've heard that there were several layoffs. R1's India team has taken over a lot of the coding we were doing. In the reviews I read before we started with R1 I know losing jobs to the India team was common. I'm glad I left when I did but it's been hard finding a new job.
