      If you want over time This is the place to make Money. Lots of over time across the Departments. On call system, so you won't feel guilty about calling in.

      Cons

      Not enough staff To take a full 30 min lunch in the evenings. Not enough appreciation for the workers who have been there for years.

      The voluntary separation offer was good.

      Cons

      I and hundreds of colleagues were transferred from Providence Health & Services to R1. We were told we were guaranteed our jobs for a year. They started offering voluntary separation packages less than a year in. This was suspicious. I didn't take the first couple of offers, but eventually I did - things were feeling uneasy. Since leaving I've heard that there were several layoffs. R1's India team has taken over a lot of the coding we were doing. In the reviews I read before we started with R1 I know losing jobs to the India team was common. I'm glad I left when I did but it's been hard finding a new job.
