"state of the art" Shared service centers require super close management by site operators, the TECHNOLOGY offering for the company is deplorable, operators spend the majority of their days managing the software from the company versus adding value to our clients. Tons of bugs and glitches in the systems that IT pretends are non-existent and one-off's, call it "Ghosts" in the machines or something because they NEVER function properly. People are jumping ship left and right, no knowledge transfer - when those folks leave it's a mad dash and scramble to pick up the pieces and figure out where they left off. Long hours, no real work/life balance.
