      Pros

      They have decent benefits, very flexible with times, still does remote work which is why their hours are so flexible.

      Cons

      Changes in management every few months which doesn't help when trying to get your yearly reviews done. Pay also isn't great but they have extra money to do everything under the sun but pay thier employees right.

      The voluntary separation offer was good.

      Cons

      I and hundreds of colleagues were transferred from Providence Health & Services to R1. We were told we were guaranteed our jobs for a year. They started offering voluntary separation packages less than a year in. This was suspicious. I didn't take the first couple of offers, but eventually I did - things were feeling uneasy. Since leaving I've heard that there were several layoffs. R1's India team has taken over a lot of the coding we were doing. In the reviews I read before we started with R1 I know losing jobs to the India team was common. I'm glad I left when I did but it's been hard finding a new job.
