Pros
I can think of absolutely none. Even though you are a remote employee, they may as well send a paid of handcuffs with their office equipment. If you're not at your desk for all 9 hours of your day, there will be consequences.
Cons
Complete disregard for employees and their lives. There is not flexibility at all, and they look at all of their corporate employees as slaves. It is expected that you work 50+ hours a week.
