Pros
Low expectations; Lots of vacation time; Company rents cars; Company helps find housing and assists with setting up bank accounts, etc. And they've always paid me on time, though I've heard the Tokyo ALTs hardly ever get paid on time. Also, most ALTs are only placed in one or two schools so it's not terribly busy. Staff is generally friendly.
Cons
VERY low pay, about the lowest you can get of any ALT company. Their highest pay for ALTs is pretty much the minimum of other companies. And if that wasn't enough, they slash your pay during the summer, making it nearly impossible to live off of this wage, especially if you have student debt like me. Staff is mostly friendly but you have to continously bother them if you want them to get anything done, get any questions answered, etc. They also will place you very last minute, I was told to arrive in March and only taken to two schools in a whole month before they placed me finally just one day before I was supposed to start there. During this month I lived in the 'company dorm' which is really just the upstairs room at their office building. They also get really hesitant when you ask to take time off even though they don't pay you for time off. Very stingy.
