Pros
Flexible scheduling compared to many other part-time jobs. Opportunity to work independently without constant supervision. Interesting work that changes from location to location. Research Associates play an important role in providing accurate data to clients. Some managers and coworkers have been supportive and helpful. The work can be rewarding for people who enjoy problem-solving and attention to detail. The company once had a stronger culture of listening to and supporting its field employees.
Cons
Field employees often feel unheard when raising concerns or requesting assistance. Management seems disconnected from the day-to-day realities of working in the field. Workloads can become unrealistic without adequate support. Communication regarding assignments, expectations, and scheduling is often inconsistent. Employee feedback appears to have little impact on decisions. Safety concerns and challenges in stores are not always addressed promptly. There is little effort to build relationships with Research Associates or understand their individual circumstances. Employees can feel like numbers rather than valued members of the team. Long-term employees' experience and knowledge do not always seem to be recognized or utilized.
