Pros
- The ability to work remotely, with a degree of flexibility and good work-life balance. - There is an opportunity to grow and learn from some very experienced individuals. - Salary and bonus payouts are good (but not great, particularly for European-based employees).
Cons
- The company is growing quickly, yet the attrition rate is high. A lot of experienced employees are resigning or moving away, and there is little to no communication when this happens. - At the same time, the company keeps promoting people into management/upper management positions who do not have the required experience/personality traits other than being ex-R&Q employees (employees coming from acquired companies are increasingly sidelined). - There is a general lack of planing, communication and clarity, and way too much eagerness to throw people under the bus to make up for incompetence and overpromising in terms of deliverables. - The small company feel prior to the acquisition/merger with in 2019 is dead. Both legacy R&Q and legacy Maetrics would have been better off not merging. - There is a lot of talk about employee-centric approaches and company culture, but unless you thrive in a toxic environment with continuous gaslighting, I recommend looking elsewhere. The blatant favoritism doesn't make things any better.
