Pros

While being the 5th largest firm, you still have the opportunity to work on smaller clients where you can work directly with executive levels of management and start drafting FS as an experienced staff or senior.

Cons

Not as large of a presence in the NW. As such, I have ran into many people who either haven't heard of the firm (recruiters or HR dept reps) or don't know that you had experience at a large firm.

Pros

Good compensation package and training

Cons

They do not have a supportive Resource team that are keen to assist associates in transitioning to the choice of industries they prefer. A request to switch industry should not take close to a year to complete. Audit folks are expected to be working from January to March due to busy season which is fair. However, prior to hire, HR should be make it clear to candidates about the holidays expectation. Lower levels associates are not allowed to take holidays in December as we are expected to be on standby during Christmas holidays for inventory counts.
