Ever since McGladrey bought back the consulting business from H&R Block, they have been making some major changes on how to operate and they have been growing non-stop. Consulting, unlike Audit and Tax, has an extremely low turn-over. Hours are very reasonable and the people, that's what makes it. The consulting group has some of the most energetic, bright, and passionate people in the business. -Very bright and passionate co workers. People here are very intelligent and superiors are always very helpful, especially to new hires. - Upper management is very transparent about issues and events - Consulting is very laid back, working approx 35-40 hours a week and very low turnover. - Opportunity to work in various industries and meet many people - Great work/life balance - Bonuses are great
