Pros

Overall this is a wonderful place to work. There is a true sense of a team and everyone has each other's best interest in mind on a site level. Work is demanding but challenging. Its nice to work without a mananager hovering over you but thats part of the nature of wind. Pay is great. Vacation and benefits are the best I've ever had. Towers heated in winter. Company is pretty good about getting you safety equipment and tools if you need them. Site level management usually has your back.

Cons

No bonus for hourly employees usually but salary does if thats what you are after. No company truck for most positions. IT is nothing short of a nightmare. No lifts in towers but climb assists are usually decent. Poor communication between site level management and upper level management.

Hi and thanks a lot for your open feedback, which we really appreciate! I especially like the part about the demanding work and the team-spirit. Also the benefits seem to fit :-) - I actually feel the same, even though being located in Germany. Stay safe and take care, Regina, career-team

Pros

Good benefits (retirement, PTO, Holidays, etc). The frontline team members are incredibly resilient and supportive of one another despite the leadership challenges.

Cons

Decimated Morale & Out-of-Touch Policies: A recent McKinsey takeover in senior leadership completely destroyed company morale, starting with a rigid, poorly managed Return-to-Office (RTO) mandate. Hidden Layoffs & Nepotism: Management practically laid off an entire internal departments under the guise of restructuring, only to immediately rebuild them using remote contractors and personal friends brought in from McKinsey. Complete Lack of Diversity: Senior leadership is a monoculture of white males who exclusively look out for their buddies. There is zero true commitment to diversity, equity, or inclusion at the top. Hostile Work Environment: Highly misaligned and poorly structured OKRs have actively pitted departments against each other, creating a deeply toxic and hostile cross-functional environment. Pay Inequity & Mistreatment: There are glaring issues regarding pay equity and the mistreatment of existing high performing employees. Clear discrepancies exist between how legacy internal talent is compensated and promoted, versus outside hires brought in through favoritism.
