Cons
Pay - you could easily go somewhere else, do the same exact work, and make 20k more, and lots of people have left and are still leaving to do exactly this. Leadership - Tons of middle management still there even after Apollo has come in. Most not really doing anything to help Apollo - Just cares about the bottom dollar, some departments have been forced to hire part time sysads to save cost of paying benefits, so some teams have people working 4-6 hours a day versus a Racker working a full 8 hour shift like the rest of the team. FAWS Leadership - A new senior director was brought in to replace the previous one that has left. He promoted a manager into a senior management role that has ego issues, consistently micromanages his employees, and time and time again fails to see the bigger picture. Additionally, this manager does not care about his employees, workload, or customers. Attrition - FAWS support has lost ~10 Rackers this past month part due to this manager, part due to being burnt out because the workload is far greater than can be handled by the current staffing, part due to the low pay, and other reasons. Other teams have lost significant amounts of people as well to competitors that pay significantly more for the same job.
