Pros
- Fully remote opportunities for those that do not live reasonably close to an office location - During my experience, there has been a great balance between work/home life. I'm sure this changes with different managers, but I have been fortunate enough to make my own schedule as long as my work gets done. - They do have LinkedIn Learning which helps does have a fair amount of courses to use for recertification. For example, if you have your PHR, there are quite a few courses that could be taken and applied to recert credits. I can not say this about every certification though, and there are a limited number of certifications.
Cons
- There have been no raises/promotions for the past several years, at least 3 years, that I'm aware of except for those that are in senior leadership. Somehow, those in senior leadership are still receiving raises/promotions, but no one else at the entire company is... - There have been significant layoffs over the past 3 years, all over the organization, including HR. They have everyone on a skeleton crew, doing jobs that 3 or 4 team members would have done in the past. And without raises or promotions - not getting paid to do the work that's being asked. - There has been a significant shift away from caring about employees and listening to their needs. They have not done an annual survey because they do not want to see that the same focus areas haven't changed in over 7 years. - There are ERGs but there is no true diversity represented across the company especially within senior leadership and c-suite leadership.
