Exposing Favoritism and Uncovering Lies - STNA/CNA Rady Children's Hospital Employee Review

Pros

They pay us regularly for our services, which is essential because we need funds to cover our operational expenses and sustain our work.

Cons

Lies, backstabbing, favoritism, and subtle forms of racism cultivate a toxic workplace environment, undermining trust and morale among employees. The compensation offered here, when compared to the cost of living in San Diego—where housing, transportation, and everyday expenses are high—is entirely inadequate. I have no desire to work for an organization that, despite generating enough revenue to invest in impressive facilities and amenities, refuses to pay its staff a livable wage, leading to dissatisfaction and high turnover.

Pros

A lot of auto-mony and remote or hybrid options. Great work-life balance.

Cons

Leadership is uninvolved in operational challenges. Routinely get the "do your best". Lack of leadership oversight in research programs - often unaware of the risks and challenges.
