Pros
You get a 30% off on regular priced clothes for all employees. After a certain amount sale from a customer, a cashier gets a gift check of $5.00. If I'm not mistake it's $100.00 purchase a customer makes that you have cashed them out. The gift check is used to buy anything from rainbow (ONLY). You get to work with great people and sometimes you don't get lucky. It's a good temporary job for getting out of high school students. If you like working with money as a cashier, being a sales associate or a security then this is a good job for you. That's if your willing to work many hours with little pay.
Cons
The downsides of working at Rainbow is mainly the hours and minimum wage. You can't surpass 40 hours weekly. You must do more than what your jobs is required. As a cashier I was required to cash customers out, stack up products, supervise cashier, clean, count all registers and close the day. For minimum wage and as much work that's is required, I wouldn't recommended anyone to work. A lot of great individual leave this job due to the pay rate and find better jobs. On your days off your constantly getting called to cover a shift. The bad part about it all is that not all manager abide by the favor for a favor. While you cover a shift for the manager on your day off and when you need a certain day off you won't always get it, sometimes never. It all depends on the manager. To get a raise also depends on your district manager. You won't get a raise without there approval.
