Enjoyment is Entirely Location Based - Crew Member Raising Cane's Employee Review

Pros

Decent pay (as of 09/29/2025, around 13/hr starting at location) for fast food, clear and consistent methods of increasing pay (cap is 16/hr for crew, dependent on location), HR actually follows up (results vary depending on severity of claims), Flexible Hours, +1$/hr past 10pm and +2$/hr while training other crew members, gift cards and parties for crew.

Cons

There are no "Objective" bad aspects to the Cane's Employment structure but some of my fellow crewmembers feel that the amount of effort expected is disproportionate to what is expected from other blue collar sectors like retail or other fast food stores. Enjoyment/satisfaction is very dependent on the people working but this is obviously the same at every job.

Pros

Friendly co workers and supportive team in general. Lots of free merch,+1 dollar per hour past 10pm

Cons

No breaks or shift meals, asked you to stay late every shift and got offered Amazon gift cards as extra compensation for various favors like covering late night shifts at another location or coming in early or staying late to deep clean the store, and I never received an Amazon gift card nor did any co worker who was made the same offer.
