Pros
You'll have a feeling that the work is for the greater good... constantly being reminded about all the people your work is helping. It does feel like you're working for the greater good. If you're willing to fully drink the cool-aid, put your head down, and do your work without questioning anything, it'll probably work out for you.
Cons
I've recently been reading a lot about Scientology and other cults. I am surprised the similarities between a cult's atmosphere and Ramsey Solutions. Everyone is held to a very strict "gossip policy" which is basically described as not saying anything negative to someone who can't fix the issue. This has bred a culture lacking honesty and integrity. Many people never say negative or critical things to anyone ever. If you do, they will quickly turn you into management. You're instructed to only talk about such things to your leader, but even then they will turn it around on you and try to explain why you're actually the problem. Expressing your displeasure can even lead to you being fired. And also your spouse better not express any displeasure either, as it can lead to you being fired It is incredible the amount of control they have over both your professional and personal life. Dave has often been up on stage ranting about how people who don't agree with everything the organization is doing is a "stupid moron who should just leave." I am definitely looking for another job. The good feeling of helping others is outweighed by the fact that leadership is tone-deaf and hateful towards those who work for them.
