Pros
Pay starts off nice. I enjoy the operators I work with. Facility is very nice. Company is growing.
Cons
Where to start... while the pay starts off good, but your yearly raises are almost laughable(even if you do well all year). YOU WILL work 7-8 day stretches frequently(they make it in 2 separate weeks so you don't get any OT). They will tell you we get our schedules far enough in advance to trade with other people(which we should not have to do to begin with), but that's a chore in itself. First you have to find a person willing to trade(which the new system makes it hard because the only people who check the trade bulletin are people who are trying to break up long stretches), but then you have to hope the day you switch doesn't start a new long stretch or now the other operator is working 6 or 7 days straight and you end up feeling bad. My favorite thing they say is "well you guys don't complain when you get 4 day weekends!" Yeah? Well I had to work three 7 day stretches back to back to back to get my 4 day weekend. Obviously we're not going to complain. I've been here over a year and I've had two 4 day weekends given to me, and the 7-8 day stretches are passed out like candy on Halloween(2-3 every 5 week scheduling period) While they do offer health, dental, and vision - if you have a family the cost is outrageous. I'm talking almost a third of EVERY paycheck. I understand their attendance/ break policy. The job we do is very important, but they give you 3 days of sick time a year(at least in the corona office). If you get a bad flu, you would use that up real fast. And if you get sick(or your kid) and don't gave any left; they use your pto and still write you up for it. Upper management and people in other departments almost make you feel subhuman. If you hear them talk during dealer visits you'll hear them say things like "we don't allow them to eat, drink, etc. at their desks" To a point you feel like a slave. And they give more praise to their $1000 chairs than their operators. In the corona office we do not get bonuses like the Syracuse office does. First their excuse was we were not a 24 hour operation, but now that we are (at least Monday through Friday) they say the corona office as a whole needs to bring their productivity up before they can "talk to someone " about bringing bonuses to our office. I could go on, but most of it has already been said in other reviews.
