Every day at RapidScale feels like some kind of fire drill, and leadership rarely acknowledges what employees do to keep things running. The culture is driven by fear, not trust. Leadership promotes “empathy” and “transparency” but acts in the opposite way. Examples: Recent RTO policies reportedly threaten disciplinary action, even termination, if employees don’t come into the office three days per week. Allegedly, “Exceptions for illness and emergencies must be communicated and approved in advance.” Earlier this year, mass layoffs happened with no communication or acknowledgment from management, which destroyed morale and made it clear that employees are viewed as disposable.
