Pros
Protecting schools and school children is a very relatable and admirable mission Flexible work arrangements Decent pay but could be better CEO is great
Cons
Thoma Bravo recently became an investor to help with an acquisition; google “what happens when Thoma Bravo buys your company”—might be exciting for a few months and then the axe comes out It is a struggle to get schools to care about or pay attention to school safety tech Moving to one annual bonus payment has not registered well; at very least make it a semi-annual bonus No equity and hence no feeling of ownership and hence folks leaving for startups that offer equity Company is run by 6 white men; needs to do better on diversity and inclusiveness Need to think beyond Texas and surrounding states There seems to be a lot of sugar coating and BS’ing of what the situation is really like; would appreciate more transparency and if that means delivering bad news or hearing constructive criticism, man up and take it
