Pros

Recently increased time off for death in the family (was 3 days) and increased time-off (PTO) to 3 wks when joining the company (was 2 wks). Decent work/life balance. Good financial balance sheet & low to none layoffs compared to other big financial firms.

Cons

Very conservative and slow to updating technology and PTO hours. Mourning a death in the family in 3 days was impossible. Time-off is minimal for both parents who work for the same company when adopting/birthing a child. Lack of acknowledgment or praise from leadership. A lot of unnecessary meetings for the sake of meeting the "team inclusivity & team building" culture which included being asked to spend my personal lunch hour with other coworkers for the sake of "displaying team engagement." The manager was very green; Consistently disregarded the teams needs and off-loaded nearly every aspect of leadership responsibilities onto others.
