Pros

Entrepeneurial culture. Friendly co-workers. Lower stress environment than some of their top competitors. Outstanding technology department. Active investment banking departments.

Cons

Lack of direction. Top producers rewarded regardless of merits of their operating models. Too many communiques from management. Slow to respond to changes. Do not reward exceptional performance below top producers. Not a good place to work for brokers trying to build a book of business. More of a retail broker dealer. Inconsistent research results. Obscurement of other team members in an effort to win the praises of top producers. Allow broker rivalries to fester.
