Pros

Large corporation benefits. Strong HR dept.

Cons

It's no longer a small or medium family-feel Florida company. It now compares to Citi or Chase. There's more concern for the bottom line than the employees. Which is to be expected of a large corporation. The employee is no longer a priority. No quarterly losses since black monday in 87. That's the claim they prioritized over 500 employees. RJ then went on to report record quarterly profits. In the process they've commoditized employment and job security. The quarterly awards for 15, 20, 30 years of service and more are drawing to a close.
