      - flat structure makes it competitive and hard to grow - bottlenecks cause strain in decision making - sometimes leadership lacks trust in their employees and how they’ll execute

      -great networking -looks great on a resume -you get to participate in large scale events -freedom to operate without a supervisor breathing down your neck
