Pros

Get to work with a lot of different technologies that will help your IT career.

Cons

Will have an extremely heavy work load, and will be tasked with working with technologies you have never touched which can prove difficult to maintain the level of work you otherwise would be capable of. The plus side is you will get to learn new technologies. Second con is the service desk management, they watch numbers like a hawk and is all they care about. You will be spending a considerable amount of time reviewing your ticket notes and trying to cover yourself to prevent management from complaining about your work, otherwise you will work 50+ hours a week, working hard but get dinged for missing a note in the ticket you worked or something minor along those lines.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that you have a negative view of your experience here but glad that you got to experience growth through working with new technologies with us. We are continuously working to provide professional development and continuous training to our team members. We are aware that not everyone has the same knowledge of technologies coming in and we look for employees who learn and grow with us, as you mentioned. We do our best to ensure everyone is supported throughout that growth process. As far as our service desk management, we always encourage our team members to reach out to our Human Resources team with any concerns they may have, whether that is hours worked or management related. We realize that we have a fast paced work environment and are continuously working to ensure everyone has the resources to succeed at their jobs. We would encourage your feedback as well.

Pros

Awesome management, excellent work life balance and high expectations. Absolutely LOVED my role here, my team and my boss. They expect a lot and will treat you right if you are a hard worker and honest employee.

Cons

I resigned after a change in CSuite leadership (CEO, President of our Department etc), and other layoffs I felt changes were coming and wanted to get ahead of those. I resigned however loved working for Red River and would work for them again if the opportunity presented itself. True professionals.
