Pros

Training is decent, the food is pretty good, the facilities are mostly nice and modern and clean. Benefits are great. Pay used to be awesome. Company trips are cool.

Cons

Commission. "Uncapped" is very misleading when they make it difficult to even push $40k starting off now. Essentially no one in the sales force apart from the literal top 1% makes money anymore. If you are making profit shares it's a totally different story but that's not possible until at least year two. There is plenty of intimidation from sales managers. The "culture" is more forced than anything. I've seen reps say one negative word about a comp plan to another rep and be hushed off to a coaching room for an attitude adjustment. Marketing is a huge part of RV. Their image is very tailored and trimmed but the reality is a BIG difference. During the interview process and onboarding they stroll you through their RV2 building filled with college coeds making small talk and having fun to make you think that's what working at RV is like; just be careful not to fall into the koolaid. The reality is if you're not an absolute shark on the sales floor(or you're on salary) you're not going to have a good time working for RV. Conditions: you have to press a button and wait for approval to use the bathroom. This may not sound too bad, but try taking 3 30-minute phone calls back to back to back without a break being approved all the while having to use the restroom. Discrimination and cronyism run rampant at RV. There is a branch of red ventures where every senior(above the age of 30) Performance manager has been demoted to make way for 20-somethings with no industry experience. There are businesses in RV where certain genders don't get promoted. And it goes both ways against both genders depending on your business. People at upper-tier roles who have no industry knowledge or experience are picked to run businesses they know nothing about; then are promoted again when they fail, meanwhile the sales force is punished. If you were just hired your schedule will be horrible. You will work late at nights and on weekends. Some businesses stay open until 2-3:00 AM. Expect a year or so before you get a decent schedule. Sooner if you perform very well(depending on your business).
