Pros
I am an Associate Agent in the Dallas area and an Independent Contractor. I truly enjoy working for Redfin. I was with a traditional brokerage previously and I am glad I made the move to Redfin. I have absolutely no regrets. I am paid for my services and I don't have to wait for a commission check that may not come if the deal falls through.
Cons
No real cons so far. No job is perfect, but this comes close. Working as an Independent Contractor may not work for everyone, but it works perfectly for me.
