Pros
- Had three line managers during my time here and was very well looked after by each one of them. My first line manager was patient with me while I learned (it was my first ever proper job). - There is quite a lot of onus on your personal development. You can make a personal development plan with your line manager which is basically a list of things YOU would like to do over the next few months to improve skills. You can take time off each week to spend a few hours on your personal development plan. I think the personal development stuff is implemented well at Redgate. - Free breakfast and great lunch everyday! A small portion of what the company earns is put into a "Feel good fund", which organises activities/socials throughout the year, for example, punting, beer fridays etc. - Great culture, great people. A couple of my good friends were my colleagues here, so I am grateful to have met interesting people here. - You are given an opportunity to move teams if you no longer think your work is interesting or if you want a change. This happens every 6-9 months.
Cons
- Upper management sometimes takes a decision without asking for your opinion. This is rare, I worked there for almost 3 years and it happened twice with me.
