Pros

The amount of cool cars I've seen/shot has been unreal and its a really great perk of the job. Same goes with with the people you meet. This job, money, and freedom is awesome but you gotta find your groove. You really can't judge this job in a month. You need at least 6 months to a year to really get in a good groove. At that point you'll realize why the older guys have been here for so long. The company is always trying to improve itself. Sometimes the changes are good but sometimes the changes are bad. THIS HAPPENS AT ALL COMPANIES. You have to understand this. The stuff that works and increases reps billing will stay but if something isn't working then the company will try to make it better. For that I consider it a pro. You can get Amazon gift card bonuses for doing a good job or asking for more work. You also average around 10k steps a day so it helps keep you in shape. 401k (match you up to 4%) and health benefits are awesome. If you get your work done, keep you accounts happy, and stay motivated then you'll have a great time and make good money.

Cons

The work you do is weather dependent but it is easily fixed by working with your manager to ensure that all the work is done.

Pros

Relatively Consistent work Simple Objective, and superiors worked with the adjustments going on in my life.

Cons

Working with elements (weather) can effect performance. Rely on own transportation. Dealership managers can be a hassle sometimes (not a big deal 90% of the time)

Pros

Good work/life balance, don’t have people breathing down your neck all day

Cons

Too many. They don’t reimburse you for your miles and you end up putting tons of miles on your car and spending tons on gas. Absolutely zero work culture. This has completely disappeared in the last 6ish years. Absolutely zero opportunity for advancement. It would be like pulling teeth to try and get any sort of raise after being one of the best reps they’ve had in their history. The VP is an amazing guy who genuinely cares. The people above him are nonexistent robots who I’ve only met one of, and it was a handful of times. No holiday parties, no events, nothing. It’s a dying business. I make less than half of what I did years ago and the dealerships are just getting less and less volume. If it rains, you’re screwed. At the absolute most, you’ll make about $80k but that’s near impossible to do. It’s a good job to get your money up somewhat quickly if you bust your butt to do so, but this job won’t get you into any higher up role in the company. Ever. I would steer clear
