Pros
Though grocery stores tend to be revolving doors for many first time employees, the team is welcoming and training is straight forward. This is a steady job and there is room for growth as long as you ask for it.
Cons
Communication can be tricky as some employees work opposing hours so occasionally you may have to come in for meetings or conversations on a day off. You have to be able to adapt to constant change in staffing on entry level positions especially since most cashiers are very young in age.
