Pros

Quickly growing, offers some opportunities for career advancement. Strong, talented multicultural team, with office locations around the nation and in Europe. Very interesting projects to be involved in. Strong engineering culture.

Cons

Benefits not very competitive with industry. Compensation on low side of industry standard, despite very high performance expectations. Little to no focus on implementing healthy work/life balance practices. No employee equity. Slow-to-moderate employee growth despite rapid company growth.

Pros

During my 4+ years at Redwire, I had the privilege of working on a wide range of unique and exciting projects. I also had the opportunity to move laterally within the company and contribute at multiple locations. Work life balance was also pretty good depending on if you had a manager that would allow you to take full advantage of the unlimited PTO policy.

Cons

Compensation and vertical movement is pretty bad. I was significantly underpaid despite multiple highly successful performance reviews and was ultimately let go despite receiving multiple promotions during my time at Redwire. I was not alone. Upper management does not care about employee retention and often times new hires will make more than veterans at the company. HR was particularly bad and did not support the employees and instead catered to diversity hires in my experience. After about the SVP level, the upper management is only looking at numbers and will not hesitate to cut you and your friends if there is a slight downturn in work.
