Pros

Free movies and discounted concessions

Cons

At least at the location I was at the major majority of management did the bare minimum while expecting other employees to go above and beyond. If you were good at your job, they would work you into the ground and if you were not competent, they had no interest in interacting with you. Manager favoritism was very present at the time I was working there, favored employees would get certain holidays off or better shifts/hours while people who were not the favorites would get the poor treatment and be singled out. Management also had inappropriate relationships with each other and anyone who questioned it or brought it up in any aspect would have their job threatened. Stock and inventory was not well organized, and the system would constantly change in confusing and inefficient ways. Management would also manipulate numbers so they could take certain items of inventory for themselves and the favored employees.

Pros

The initial role offers good experience in sales and customer service, but the benefits are overshadowed by internal management failures.

Cons

The primary issue lies in the disconnect between local management and corporate HR, specifically regarding off-boarding and payroll accuracy. I submitted a formal two-week notice which was reportedly never filed by my manager. This resulted in an "ineligible for rehire" status despite my following all proper protocols. Furthermore, communication from Corporate is inconsistent and contradictory. I was told both that my notice was received but my two weeks were incomplete, and then later told that no notice was submitted at all. Even with physical proof of attendance (after a manager failed to adjust a manual clock-in as promised) and proof of the submitted notice, Corporate refused to correct the record.
