Pros

Free movie tickets for yourself and a friend (with restrictions on busy nights), easy shift changes, accommodations for requested days off, respectful management.

Cons

Pressure to upsell unhealthy food, the requirement to ask for donations to charity at concessions even after customers have already been asked at the box office, working with hot oil, late hours and required weekend shifts, managers send crew members home during slow times.

Pros

The initial role offers good experience in sales and customer service, but the benefits are overshadowed by internal management failures.

Cons

The primary issue lies in the disconnect between local management and corporate HR, specifically regarding off-boarding and payroll accuracy. I submitted a formal two-week notice which was reportedly never filed by my manager. This resulted in an "ineligible for rehire" status despite my following all proper protocols. Furthermore, communication from Corporate is inconsistent and contradictory. I was told both that my notice was received but my two weeks were incomplete, and then later told that no notice was submitted at all. Even with physical proof of attendance (after a manager failed to adjust a manual clock-in as promised) and proof of the submitted notice, Corporate refused to correct the record.
