Pros

Free movies are great but corporate has recently started cracking down on passes to employees. Easy work as far as a part time job goes. Theaters make for a fun environment to work in.

Cons

Hours can change wildly from week to week along with being cut hours midshift if corporate decides they need less people on payroll. Pay is almost bare minimum on top of that. Working with the public means working with the rude public as well.

Pros

The initial role offers good experience in sales and customer service, but the benefits are overshadowed by internal management failures.

Cons

The primary issue lies in the disconnect between local management and corporate HR, specifically regarding off-boarding and payroll accuracy. I submitted a formal two-week notice which was reportedly never filed by my manager. This resulted in an "ineligible for rehire" status despite my following all proper protocols. Furthermore, communication from Corporate is inconsistent and contradictory. I was told both that my notice was received but my two weeks were incomplete, and then later told that no notice was submitted at all. Even with physical proof of attendance (after a manager failed to adjust a manual clock-in as promised) and proof of the submitted notice, Corporate refused to correct the record.
