Regal has provided me with a great job, but nothing I want to make a career out of. - Associate Manager Regal Employee Review

Pros

Regal is the largest theatre chain in the country so they have a ton of resources. If you want to relocate, there is probably a theatre anywhere you want to move. "4 set process" makes it almost impossible to get fired if you put in any effort (this could easily be seen as a con as well though). If you have a desire to move up in the company there are definitely a lot of opportunities. 401K match for all employees. And of course free movies.

Cons

There is a huge chain of command and I constantly feel like each layer of the chain is putting more and more pressure on the chain below so that they look better. The hours are odd, you will work every weekend and every holiday. It was difficult to discipline employees without worrying that HR would say we were being inconsistent or telling us that we needed to handle write-ups differently.

Pros

It was a fun job for a part-time role when it's one of your first jobs. Got to watch movies during breaks, coworkers were chill, free popcorn and tickets was also a bonus.

Cons

Dealing with trash, rude customers, and rush hours were rough but were all part of what you'd expect in customer service. Hours are a bit late for closing given that its a movie theater.
