Pros

Free Movies Free movie paraphernalia Working with varied people and personalities Get to do a lot of things and not boring Fantastic health care benefits for FT managers Four weeks of vacation after 5 years in FT postion

Cons

- Long Hours - Payroll control is out of control, They cut hours to save money and pay their CEO and higher ups a lot of money while paying staff minimum wage and don't provide healthcare to them. - Corporate office is extremely out of touch with reality - HR runs this company, so beware. One customer complaint and you have a high chance of being fired regardless if you actually did anything. Also, any complaints turn into some horrifying mirage of HR where everyone will end up getting investigated as the corporate office does it remotely and never gets to know the true situation. - Boys Club - In certain regions of the country, the only way to get to GM level is to fraternize with your DM/Corporate folks. If you are a female, your chances are pretty nill from being promoted to General Manager positions. - Company allows bullying to occur and won't do anything about it if it isn't the legal definition of "Hostile work environment" -Lack of training to Management and staff

Pros

It was a fun job for a part-time role when it's one of your first jobs. Got to watch movies during breaks, coworkers were chill, free popcorn and tickets was also a bonus.

Cons

Dealing with trash, rude customers, and rush hours were rough but were all part of what you'd expect in customer service. Hours are a bit late for closing given that its a movie theater.
