Pros

Free movies, discount concessions, mostly nice co-workers, good job while in school, free popcorn and soda while working

Cons

Got a 10 cent raise after being employed for a little over 2 years and I also worked with people who had been there for 4+ years who make as much as I do at my new job that I've only had for a few months, GM was very lax on doing employee reviews, if you didn't kiss the GM or her assistants a** (at least at my theater) you probably won't get good hours or employee of the month, hiring of too many employees so don't expect to break over 20 hours, they wouldn't let me take a week off for personal reasons despite having more than enough employees to cover my shifts( I only was given 3 shifts a week so why would it be a problem?) and having very rarely requesting off,

Pros

The initial role offers good experience in sales and customer service, but the benefits are overshadowed by internal management failures.

Cons

The primary issue lies in the disconnect between local management and corporate HR, specifically regarding off-boarding and payroll accuracy. I submitted a formal two-week notice which was reportedly never filed by my manager. This resulted in an "ineligible for rehire" status despite my following all proper protocols. Furthermore, communication from Corporate is inconsistent and contradictory. I was told both that my notice was received but my two weeks were incomplete, and then later told that no notice was submitted at all. Even with physical proof of attendance (after a manager failed to adjust a manual clock-in as promised) and proof of the submitted notice, Corporate refused to correct the record.
